Unconventional Beauty Products: Tape

Who doesn’t love home remedies and tricks? It’s such a relief to know that your life can be made so much easier, just by utilizing certain household products that you almost guaranteed already have in your home.

One of the most useful beauty tips I’ve stumbled upon over the years requires the use of one of the most well-known home products out there: tape. Just simple scotch tape. How could tape help you with your beauty routine you ask? By making your smoky eye application a little bit more precise, that’s how.

Have you ever been in the process of applying your smoky eye, eye shadow only to realize that you were getting shadow residue all of the side of your face? Of course you have, it sucks.  To prevent such a beauty disaster (maybe not disaster but, you get what I mean), try applying one strip of tape diagonally on the side of your eye (view below) and apply your makeup as usual.

When you’re done with your eye makeup masterpiece, simply remove the piece of tape to find a clean and precise outer line of your eye shadow. No more wiping shadow off of the side of your face, you’re all ready to go.
