Ideas Of Beauty In Mexico Have Changed Drastically Over 100 Years (Video)

In 100 years, Mexican beauty has transformed from oversized hats to glamorous thick waves — stopping only for a bouffant some time around the 1960s.

The newest edition to Cut Video’s 100 Years of Beauty series takes on the United States’ next-door neighbor, and it beautifully shows the updos of the 1930s and the scrunchies of the 1990s.

Judging by the pages of YouTube comments requesting different countries, Cut Video will keep this series going until we’ve all taken a digital trip through our own country’s history.
