Wearing Makeup With Glasses

There’s nothing I love more than getting all dolled up and over doing it. What girl doesn’t? Sometimes, however, I wake up and all I want to do is stay in a huge comfy sweater, leggings and my glasses.

Some days, that type of ensemble is just necessary, but by no means does this mean that you have to not put effort into your appearance. This has nothing to do with impressing other people or being self-conscious with no makeup on. To me, getting up and doing your hair and makeup just motivates you to be wide-awake throughout the day.

So wear your glasses, but wear some makeup too. Many of you may not know this, but your eyes do look different when you have makeup on. Which calls for you to wear your makeup differently.

Glasses give your eyes the illusion of looking smaller, so avoid lining your waterline with heavy black eyeliner and leave it bare. This will make your eyes look wider. Keep dark eye shadows away from you eyelid and focus more on your crease, another trick that will give you wider eyes.

Highlight the inner corner of your eyes with iridescent/shimmery colors, bringing more light to your eyes. Make sure you use concealer, because your glasses will cast a shadow over the bags under your eyes.

Finally, define your brows. Your eyebrows will pop more with glasses resting under them, and defining them will only give you a little extra something.
