Cyber Monday 2012: Biggest Online Shopping Day In U.S. History

It seems and if Black Friday and Cyber Monday are more similar to national holidays than to a regular old sale at the mall. 2012 happened to have the largest Black Friday and Cyber Monday turn outs in history, with Cyber Monday breaking records as the largest online shopping day in U.S. History.

So large that sales increased 30.3% from last year. To put it into perspective, Cyber Monday brought in $1.5 billion worth of total dollar sales. So what led to the increase? Apparently, mobile shopping. Mobile sales increased 96% from last year and close to 13% of sales came from an iPad.
