I’m not really sure what expectations I have for dresses on the red carpet this Sunday night. I know what I like and I know what I don’t like when it comes to certain styles.
Yes, all of these following trends (well, most of them) are beautiful, classic and understated. I have to admit that classic and understated is my style of dress the majority of the time, but if you’re stepping onto the red carpet, you should be going all out.
Here are seven trends that the red carpet has seen enough of. Originality would be preferred:

Huge Leg Slits
Nude Sparkly Dresses
Overly Mature Dresses
Mermaid Silhouette
Sweetheart Necklines
Sequined Column Dresses
