I’ve always been a huge fan of gloves, but like many other women and men out there, I’m constantly removing them to respond to text messages or use my iPhone.

The bigger issue could be that I’m so attached to my Smartphone that I’d rather risk cold fingertips than let a message go unanswered for a few minutes, but that’s besides the point.

In recent years, a new technology has surfaced solving this problem: touch-sensitive technology. Basically, if you haven’t already heard, this allows you to type with your index and thumb fingertips, without removing your gloves. Sign me up, immediately.

These Burberry Ribbed Cashmere Touch Knit Gloves feature said technology, and what’s better than a basic black glove made complete with touch-sensitive technology and the classic Burberry check pattern? Not much.

Buy these incredible gloves at Bloomingdales for $215.

Why The MH17 Tragic Flight Might Cause World War III

To say that 2014 has been a harrowing year for Eastern Europe would be an understatement. A war has been raging for months now between the Ukrainian military and Russian-backed separatists, and while the world has been watching and expressing its outrage, it wasn’t until last week that the conflict directly impacted other countries. Apparently the 16-year-old female made up a story about two masked burglars breaking into the house, […]

Why I’m Terrified Of Having Children (In America)

What do Papua New Guinea, Oman and the United States all have in common? All three countries don’t offer federal government funded (or subsidized) paid maternity leave. It might not seem like a big deal, but Chad, Mali, Mongolia and Cuba offer paid maternity leave, along with 174 other countries. Clearly, the USA is behind […]

Women Who Have Children After 33 May Actually Live Longer

Well, this is a weird correlation — according to research conducted by Thomas Perls, director of the New England Centenarian Study, women who are able to have kids after the age of 33 on average live longer than those who had their last child before they turned 30. The study, published in The Journal of […]
