If You Don’t Want To Wear A Dress On New Year’s…
Fashion

It’s more than expected for women to wear short sequined dresses on New Year’s Eve, and that’s fine. Who doesn’t love a short sequined dress? The truth is, a lot of women don’t.

New Year’s Eve is the one night a year where everyone goes out, regardless of what kind of fete you’re attending, you will be doing something. Some girls love the New Year’s party dresses, but some are into a different type of style.

For those of you who don’t care for the disco ball inspired ensembles, why don’t you try one of these options?:

An all black jumpsuit looks good on everyone. It’s dressy, fun and comfortable. If you don’t have a jumpsuit, or can’t find one, and like this style, make your own by pairing a black top and black pants together. An outfit like this would look amazing with a sleek ponytail or bun.

If the jumpsuit option isn’t for you, try wearing a trousers/blazer combination. Make this outfit more ‘going out’ acceptable by ditching the shirt and just wearing the blazer fully buttoned up. This will give you some extra sex appeal, while still dressing appropriately.

Would you wear either of these outfits on New Year’s?

Why The Hippie Image Of Free People Is An Unattainable Illusion

Pseudo-hippies everywhere will probably nail me to their Pinterest hit lists, but I don’t care. I will no longer stand for the injustice that is overpriced napkins and mass-produced flower children. Free People clothing is infiltrating the minds of wannabe Sienna Millers everywhere with too-trendy images of a boho lifestyle. It might be pretty, but […]

Back To The Roaring 20s: Wealth Inequality Is Back To Its Pre-Depression Highs

It’s tough to communicate the threats of economic inequality without referencing what it has done to the country in the past. Remember the 1920s? When corrupt business owners had so much money that they set the stage for a financial collapse and put nearly half of the country under the poverty line? According to new […]

This Cat Just Can’t Get Enough Of His Reflection In The Mirror (Video)

This cat is so vain that he probably thinks Carly Simon wrote a song about him. I’ll actually try and be objective for once — if this is Rigby’s first time discovering a reflective surface, then I’ll give him a pass. Mirrors are fascinating things. However, if I’ve learned one thing in my life, it’s […]

Chelsea Clinton Makes The Case That Women Don’t Have To Have It All To Do It All

One Clinton made a big announcement yesterday — and it wasn’t Hillary putting speculation to rest and declaring that she’d be running for president in 2016. Instead, at an understated “No Ceilings” event on the Lower East Side in New York City, Chelsea Clinton made headlines with the news that she and husband Marc Mezvinsky […]
