Fearless Fashion: The Cropped Jacket

Outerwear is my favorite part of cold weather. A nicely tailored jacket has the ability to transform your outfit or complete it. This upcoming fall season it seems that the usual fall jackets are getting shorter, and more elaborate.

Colored Leather

Cropped leather jackets are nothing new, but this season it seems that colored leather is in. Alice + Olivia shows that red leather can look good on this Motorcycle Jacket ($795, Neiman Marcus). Colored leather will give an all black outfit a pop of color.

Military

The military trend is one that has been reoccurring for many past fall seasons. This Leather-Sleeve Textured Jacket from Burberry Brit ($795, Neiman Marcus) is on the top of my “Most Coveted for Fall” list. The cropped cut and motorcycle style give it a casual feel while the leather sleeves make the jacket a little edgier.

Jacquard
