My Last Minute New Year’s Outfit

I have to admit, even though I’ve been writing about sparkly dresses, and do personally love everything that glitters, I’ve never been one to wear sequined clothing.

Sequined clothing never fit into my style of dress and I’ve never worn something glittery on New Year’s. This year, I attempted to go against my own norm, and branch out. I didn’t put too much thought into my outfit for tonight, and to be honest, threw a bunch of things together when I packed my bag earlier.

The one item I pre-planned and pre-purchased though, the sequined dress I’ll be wearing. I figured it’s about time I try it out. I’m still a beginner to stand out items of dress, so I decided to throw a blazer on top, which is more my style.

I’ll be pairing this outfit with nude pumps, a black bubble necklace, and will be mainly accessorizing with my makeup. A bronze-shadowed eye paired with my favorite beauty product: my oxblood lipstick.
