I have to admit, even though I’ve been writing about sparkly dresses, and do personally love everything that glitters, I’ve never been one to wear sequined clothing.

Sequined clothing never fit into my style of dress and I’ve never worn something glittery on New Year’s. This year, I attempted to go against my own norm, and branch out. I didn’t put too much thought into my outfit for tonight, and to be honest, threw a bunch of things together when I packed my bag earlier.

The one item I pre-planned and pre-purchased though, the sequined dress I’ll be wearing. I figured it’s about time I try it out. I’m still a beginner to stand out items of dress, so I decided to throw a blazer on top, which is more my style.

I’ll be pairing this outfit with nude pumps, a black bubble necklace, and will be mainly accessorizing with my makeup. A bronze-shadowed eye paired with my favorite beauty product: my oxblood lipstick.

Why The Hippie Image Of Free People Is An Unattainable Illusion

Gravity measurements taken from NASA’s Cassini spacecraft have revealed an underground ocean on one of Saturn’s moons. The discovery of a body of water possibly larger than Lake Superior suggests that Enceladus, Saturn’s sixth-largest moon, could have been capable of sustaining life. Enceladus is the third moon to have an underground ocean, next to Jupiter’s […]

What If ‘Game Of Thrones’ Was About The Social Media Empires? (Video)

The Emmy Award-winning opening sequence for HBO’s “Game of Thrones” is unlike any we’ve seen on TV before. From a raven’s-eye view we are shown a three-dimensional map of the fictional land of Westeros, which changes week to week depending on the show’s plot twists. However, what if it were to change so drastically that […]

Believe It Or Not, George W. Bush Is Really Good At Painting Portraits (Photos)

If you were to take a walk around George W. Bush’s library, you’d see that the 43rd President of the United States is actually pretty good at painting. That’s right, Bush is lethal with the paintbrush and easel. His paintings feature himself, other world leaders, family members and iconic moments that highlight US history. A […]
