By now I’m sure you’re all familiar with the subzero temperatures we’re all experiencing in New York City, and by now, I’m sure you’ve spent enough time crying over it.

This morning, when getting dressed, I was consumed with dressing warmly, while still staying chic and well dressed. The solution? Printed cable knit sweaters.

Splurge

This Michael by Michael Kors Metallic Paneled Chunky Knit Sweater would be the perfect layering piece to go over a button down, or under a blazer, during this frigid weather. ($295, net-a-porter.com)

Save

In an almost identical dupe, this Silence & Noise Deep-V Tunic sweater ($59, urbanoutfitters.com) would be the perfect addition to your cold weather wardrobe.

Would you wear a printed cable knit sweater?

China Combats Texting While Walking Phenomenon With A ‘No Cell Phone’ Sidewalk Lane

Stopping in the middle of the sidewalk to text is never cool. But Chongqing, China, has found a way around the traffic-blocking hastle: separate lanes for those who walk and text. Although the installation probably isn’t permanent, city officials are using the divided sidewalks as a chance to bring attention to how disruptive using smartphones […]
