Spotlight: Corduroy Dresses

I’m a sucker for texture, especially so during the cold weather months. One of my favorite fall/winter textured fabrics? Corduroy.

Corduroy does of course remind me of a prep school six year old, but it can be incorporated so perfectly into an adult’s wardrobe, that we should all be excited by the recent surge in the corduroy dress trend.

Not just corduroy dresses, but corduroy skirts. These staples have been seen everywhere in various different colors and styles and I have to admit, I can’t get enough of it.

The Cannes Film Festival, obviously held in Cannes, France, is the most anticipated and prestigious film festival in the world. Models, of course, frequently are the faces of advertising campaigns for companies as a main component of their job.  However, it’s a rare occurrence when a model actually collaborates with the brand she’s fronting. Karlie Kloss has just teamed up with the denim label Frame to create “Forever Karlie,” a two-style denim capsule collection that [...]

Glamour Magazine has just released their top 50 Best Dressed of 2013 list, and I have to say, I’m a bit disappointed. Maybe you will be too, who knows. The detailed list even goes as far as to list how many spaces someone has moved around the list, to give you a better idea as [...]

Cara Delevingne Covers Miss Vogue’s Debut Issue

The United Kingdom pretty much shares the same magazine publications as we do, but there was one thing the country was lacking: a version of their own Teen Vogue. The country has responded by launching their debut issue of Miss Vogue, their answer to all of England’s young girl’s requests. Obviously, it would be fitting [...]

James Franco’s: The Director

Documentaries are a personal favorite of mine. I’m nerdy in the sense that I would much rather watch a movie that has some type of historical accuracy, or is a collection of people speaking on something they experienced first hand in the past. My love of documentaries pairs well with my love of fashion in [...]

Apparently now that she lives in NYC she doesn’t need a license. Bynes’ attorney Richard Hutton showed up in her place and [...]

Liverpool’s Luis Suarez Bites Opponent During Match [Video]

It’s no secret that soccer isn’t the most manly of sports but just recently we saw some truly sissy behavior on the pitch. During a Liverpool-Chelsea match, two players were seen doing the unthinkable. Well one of them at least. Liverpool sriker Luis Suarez actually bit Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic in what was a truly bizarre [...]

Ray J Featuring Bobby Brackins – I Hit It First [Listen]

When we first learned that Ray J would be releasing “I Hit It First,” we were in disbelief. Could someone really be that thirsty? Sadly, the answer is yes.  On the record, Ray J gets straight to the point with a hook that completely lacks subtlety: “She might move on to rappers and ballplayers/But we [...]
