Weekend Outfits: January 4th

It was a rough week. Nothing happened in particular, and to be honest, nothing bad really happened either. It was freezing cold, and dark, and grey, and everyone walked around like a zombie. That, to me, is rough.

As a result, I don’t really feel like going out and doing much this weekend. Of course I’ll leave the comforts of my own bed on occasion (a very rare occasion), but I’ll put myself together at some point.

Since I’m not in the mood for anything dramatic, here are my outfit choices for the weekend. As a nighttime option, I’ll play it safe. Black skinny jeans and a grey blouse (to match the horrid weather) is always a safe combination. Any ensemble of this variety can be dressed up with classic jewelry and a pair of classic black pumps.

During the day, I want to be comfortable. Since the fashion seasons are about to change (unfortunately, not the real seasons), I want to incorporate as many fall/winter trends into my days as I possibly can. Let’s revisit the military trend by throwing on a military coat over a white turtleneck and beige pants.
