Lingerie Football League Banning Lingerie?

Is that even possible? Can you even be a lingerie football league if you’re not, in fact, donning lingerie on the playing field? I mean, isn’t that their defining factor?

Apparently, not anymore. The chairman of the Lingerie Football League has released a statement claiming that the LFL has “reached a crossroad of gaining credibility as a sport or continuing to be viewed as a gimmick.” The league will now change it’s name to he Legends Football League (um, what?) and has decided that its players will now wear more appropriate performance wear (including pads).

The logos for the league will no longer feature sexy females, and its “True Fantasy Football” tagline will be replaced with “Women of the Gridiron”.

I don’t know, what do you think about this change? Will it hurt the business?
