Maxim India is getting a ton of flack for airbrushing Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra's armpits to look smoother and whiter on the cover of its June/July issue.

Look, I get it. I'm brown. I've also had my fair share of insecurities because I have darker armpits. But Priyanka Chopra doesn't NEED Photoshop. She's gorgeous.

So, why the hell would Maxim think it's OK to make them look completely different? Leyah Shanks, a positive body image campaigner, called the shot of Chopra "scary." She went on to say:

It's no wonder there is a body image problem across the globe when hugely powerful publications don't exercise their power to bring about change — but rather continue to [instill] and perpetuate insecurity.

AMEN. And other people seem to agree with Shanks. They're still tweeting to stand in solidarity with Chopra and the shade of her beautiful, natural pits.

Without further ado, let's take a look at some of the best things people from the Twitter-verse have to say:

#LeaveArmpitsAlone

Can we spread "Armpit Gate" and make it a thing?

Word.

This dude can't be fooled by Photoshop.

And neither can this girl.

Oh, and you can go ahead and add me to the list.

Priyanka, your pits are fine just the way they are. Actually, they're more than fine. They're stunning.
