Was The Missoni Family Kidnapped?

Vittorio Missoni, the CEO of the Missoni fashion house, has been missing since Friday morning when his plane disappeared off the coast of Venezuela. Obvious assumptions leads to a plane crash, but new developments are giving the family hope, while rekindling a new fear.

Guido Foresti, son of another passenger on the Missoni plane, received a mysterious text message Sunday night from his father, who was known to be on the plane that disappeared. The text message simply said “Call now, we are reachable.” in Italian.

Italian phone company Telecom Italia Mobile has confirmed that the message was sent, but cannot verify as to where it was written and sent from. The number that sent the text has now been turned off.

The Missoni family seems to believe that the planes passengers are still alive, and suspect kidnapping. What do you think?
