People Get Up In Arms About Birth Control, But The Government Spends $172 Million On Penis Pumps

by Elite Daily Staff

One of the effects of Obama's new health insurance plan is that companies will have to start covering women's healthcare needs, including contraceptives.

Naturally, outspoken Republicans, confused women who prefer giving blow jobs and other sexually-frustrated individuals are angered and attacking this stipulation because they're unsure as to why they should pay for sex-related medical issues -- especially a woman's.

"The Daily Show" has given us a new point of sexual debate that seriously undermines these birth control opponents' cases:

"Medicare has spent $172 million on penis pumps in the last five years alone, or that Viagra has also received $819 million and Cyalis more than $782 million."

Hmm... seems kind of ridiculous to argue paying for contraceptives when men are literally pumping up to put it in us.

So let us get this straight -- politicians have spent countless hours debating whether birth control should be federally funded, but zero minutes discussing whether penis pumps should be covered by Medicare?

What's even more concerning is that birth control is used for a whole slew of reasons aside from preventing unwanted pregnancy.

According to Planned Parenthood, more than six out of 10 women use birth control for health reasons, like lowering the risk of getting cancer or treating Endometriosis.

What do penis pumps offer again?
