Stella McCartney ruled British fashions in 2012. Not only was she the most searched designer in the country, she designed the British Olympic Team’s uniforms, dressed Kate Middleton, and won major accolades at the British Fashion Awards.

McCartney is now in line to be honored even more in 2013. Stella McCartney will be receiving an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award, or an OBE.

Queen Elizabeth honors new OBE’s each year, with the list of honorees being presented on January 1st. McCartney will formally accept the award in a ceremony sometime in 2013.
