Topshop x Reclaim To Wear

Last summer, Topshop and the eco-friendly, yet cute, label Reclaim To Wear launched an “upcycled” capsule collection, which was created from the reuse of discarded materials. Surprisingly, the line was a complete success.

Pair that with Topshop’s continuous efforts to address design waste, and you have the recipe for the inspiration to launch a second line of summer clothing.

“The inspiration behind the collection was to turn away from disposable fashion, giving a new lease of life to disregarded prints from previous seasons,” explained Stephen Mongan, Topshop head of sourcing and technical services.

A further nod to sustainability: the entire line was produced in Britain in an effort to promote local business. That’s certainly something you don’t see everyday in the fashion industry.

The collection includes a plethora of delicate floral pieces in an array of vibrant colors with subtle adornments, such as lace paneling and checked inserts. The collection is friendly to girls with all types of preferences: from high-waisted shorts to maxi skirts, this collection is chock full of essential summer silhouettes that everyone craves.

The Topshop x Reclaim to Wear collection will be available in stores and on Topshop.com beginning June 20.
