I'm a big fan of retro fashion revivals.
While some throwback trends are pretty awesome, others make you question how certain looks became popular the first time around, let alone a second.
The nostalgia of the 90s has definitely returned to the runway, and some decades-old footwear is now making its way into the good graces of fashion once again.
Remember those Birkenstocks and Tevas that used to be stylish, but were considered by many to be seriously fugly?
Well, apparently it's been so long that everyone must have forgotten what these things actually look like, and now they're making a comeback.
Look at the bright side... They're not as bad as Crocs.
Personally, you won't find me jumping on the Birkenstock bandwagon anytime soon, but I'll admit some people have actually found a way to make them look fashionable, and for that, they deserve some serious style recognition.
