These Girls Want To Be Engineers, Not Princesses, And Don’t You Dare Get Them Anything Pink (Video)

Eat your hearts out, Beastie Boys; this revisiting of the classic song “Girls” shows how girls today don't just want pink toys and to be appreciated for their looks.

This was the concept behind the ad for GoldieBlox, a toy company aimed at getting girls into engineering, which has since gone viral.

GoldieBlox CEO Debbie Sterling,a Stanford University-educated engineer, wants girls to be something more than princesses and pink lovers, and the GoldieBlox kit might be exactly what they need to get started working on their futures at an early age.
