Vogue and the CFDA have continually worked at fundraising aid for Hurricane Sandy victims ever since the storm hit the East Coast this past October, and their recognition of those affected has yet to stop.

In this February issue of Vogue the magazine focused their editorials on honoring New York’s emergency response teams, who were responsible for getting the city back on it’s feet.

Annie Leibovitz photographed models Karlie Kloss, Chanel Iman and Arizona Muse alongside NYPD Special Ops, nurses at Bellevue Hospital’s neonatal care unit, firefighters from the FDNY’s Far Rockaway house, officers from the National Guard’s 69th Infantry, servicemen from the US Coast Guard, and workers from Con Edison.

Take that, Vogue Critics.
