Vogue and the CFDA have continually worked at fundraising aid for Hurricane Sandy victims ever since the storm hit the East Coast this past October, and their recognition of those affected has yet to stop.

In this February issue of Vogue the magazine focused their editorials on honoring New York’s emergency response teams, who were responsible for getting the city back on it’s feet.

Annie Leibovitz photographed models Karlie Kloss, Chanel Iman and Arizona Muse alongside NYPD Special Ops, nurses at Bellevue Hospital’s neonatal care unit, firefighters from the FDNY’s Far Rockaway house, officers from the National Guard’s 69th Infantry, servicemen from the US Coast Guard, and workers from Con Edison.

Take that, Vogue Critics.

Why Chivalry Is An Outdated Concept In Today’s Workplace

Chivalry is defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary as, “the system of values (such as loyalty and honor) that knights in the middle ages were expected to follow,” or “an honorable and polite way of behaving, especially toward women.” For generations, people have been insisting chivalry is dead. Joan Rivers Storms Off CNN Set After Reporter Blasts Her With Negativity (Video)

Comedian Joan Rivers apparently forgot that not all interviews are about what a national treasure she is and stormed out of the room when CNN’s Fredericka Whitfield dared bring up the subject of public criticism last Saturday.
