Why Black And White Will Always Save Your Wardrobe

Is there anything easier to wear than black and white? It always looks timeless, crisp and translates into everything from ball gowns to natty shorts. From Marc Jacobs to Chanel, here are some of the best black and white fashion trends for spring 2013.  Graphic, animal prints, awning stripes, embellishment, color block, minimal black white, mixed prints, small black white, black white tweed and variegated stripes are amongst the hottest looks in black and white.

Not only do you see black and white on the runways and on every hot celebrity from Beyonce to Bruno Mars, we see it in everything from Interior Design to Yachts.

With black and white try it big and bold on body parts you feel confident about or go for an all-over big graphic print (they are surprisingly good at camouflaging body faults.). Oversized stripes at Dolce & Gabbana make for an eye-appealing and crisp business look. Horizontal stripes may not be the easiest to carry off, but they can work when worn correctly.

While graphics and bold patterns are hot, so are more subtle treatments, like luxe embroideries at houses like Jason Wu. This color combo always looks fresh, timeless and expensive, even in embellishment. While many of the best black and white prints feature big and bold graphic looks, small print dots like the Stella McCartney collection look fresh too.

For the most flattering look, choose a print with less of a white background (it's more flattering and you'll look slimmer.) This is my favorite color combination, classic, elegant and timeless look so how can you go wrong with this winning combination.  Check out our collection of black and white amazing pieces we have for you which we deem the best of the best.  Have fun with black and white all year around.
