Arkansas Now Has Strictest Abortion Law In America

Exactly 40 years ago, Roe v. Wade gave women in this country the right to have an abortion legally, free of interference by the State. Arkansas feels as if they are an exception to this rule.

Arkansas has now passed the nation’s strictest abortion legislation by banning abortion at 12 weeks pregnancy. For those of you who aren’t aware, Roe v. Wade states that abortion is legal up to the point of a fetus being viable outside of the womb, or up to 24 weeks.

How do you feel about this legislation? Should states be able to limit how many weeks an abortion is legal individually or not?
