Nicola Formichetti Making Quick Moves

With the shocking news of Nicola Formichetti leaving Mugler breaking just a few short days ago, there comes rumors of where he’s got his eyes set on next.

According to Page Six, “sources” say that Formichetti is about to be names Creative Director at Diesel. Formichetti has proven to be a fan of Diesel’s label before. He sat front row at the Diesel Black Gold show this past fashion week, and has been photographed wearing the brand.

Formichetti was also recently photographed hanging with Diesel founder Renzo Rosso at an Edun fashion party during Paris Fashion Week. Could all of these signs point to Formichetti moving onto Diesel?

WWD posted yesterday on the fact that Formichetti “is expected to shortly reveal a major collaboration with Italian denim giant Diesel.”
