Should Women And Men Have Separate Professions?

I thought that this was a concept that hadn’t been seriously considered since the early 1900s, but researchers are actually putting in time and effort into studying whether or not women and men should have separate professions.

Researchers at the University Cambridge found that in countries such as Slovenia, Mexico, Brazil, Sweden and Hungary had the most equal pay, because women and men work in different occupations to a greater extent than most other countries.

In countries such as the United States, Japan, the Czech Republic, Austria and the Netherlands have men and women working in the same fields (for the large majority) which results in larger pay gaps. Men, of course, are typically paid more.
