16 Creative Promposals That’ll Make You Wish Someone Liked You That Much

Prom season is around the corner, and mustering up the courage to ask someone to go with you can be a big deal in and of itself.

So someone going the extra mile to be creative and put together something thoughtful, funny or brave deserves BIG props.

Luckily, there is always Twitter for inspiration, and I've had the sincere pleasure of scouring the internet for some of the best promposals out there.

For SURE, my favorite is this epic girl who asked herself to prom, but the list below includes some pretty close seconds.

Take a look at the hilarious, adorable and flat-out strange prom invites to get inspired.

These people went straight for the kill, bringing in everyone's best secret weapon: puppies.

"Prom with you would be Pawfect."

"I would be golden if I can retrieve a prom date."

"If my puppy dog eyes don't work, maybe her's will... prom?"

And these gents went with a classic, romantic beach theme.

"Of all the fish in the sea, I'd shore love for you to go to prom with me!"

"I would be lost at sea if you didn't go to prom with me."

Others upped the anti by asking their dates to prom AND including special gifts.

"Can you picture us at prom together?"

"What are the CHANCES of you going to prom with me?"

Some folks used TV and movies as their inspiration...

Like the show "The Office"

Of course, what's a promposal list without something inspired by Harry Potter?

This detail-oriented gent's promposal was probably the highlight of this girl's day.

And these creative geniuses we're just so "punny."

"I'm DYING to go to prom with you."

"I hope this isn't in-Seine, but it would be sweet if you helped me with my French for a Midnight in Paris. Prom?"

This lady knows the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

"Don't be a meanie... go to prom with this weenie?"

But this guy takes the cake. (Or should I say, the nugget?)

Sure, we can't all be Kylie Jenner and make everyone's prom the best there ever was, but WE can aspire to be the chicken nuggets guy.
