There Are A Ton Of Olympic Athletes On Tinder Right Now
If you guys were wondering what happens behind closed doors at the Olympics, I have the answer for you.
We already told you about the Olympic Tinder profiles we found, but now we have confirmation that they're using the dating app to get it on in the Olympic Village and not with mere peasants like us.
Apparently, the athletes — who are staying in the Olympic Village in Rio — are using Tinder to hook up with each other. They even say having sex during training helps their athletic performance.
Many of the athletes prefer to meet other athletes on Tinder and other dating apps because that's easier, and then they do group dates with other athlete friends. Many of these women and men have been out of the dating game or never in the dating game before the Olympics, so it's a lot to take in for these athletes, especially after training so hard to be here.
The source went on to say that, despite their high sex drives, the athletes are being extra vigilant this year because of the Zika virus. But they're more-or-less safe because they've been supplied with a lot of condoms. To be exact, each athlete gets 43 condoms. There are 10,000 athletes. You do the math.
As for why these athletes are turning to an app we mere mortals use? A source told Daily Mail the athletes looked "bored" and are turning to Tinder to create more excitement in their lives. In that case, yay for protection!
Even swimming champ Ryan Lochte is on Tinder.
Lochte actually admitted in an exclusive interview with Cosmopolitan that he's been "matching up with a bunch of gorgeous women who are smart..." Even though Lochte is a hunky piece of man meat, he isn't exactly looking for someone who's all beauty and no brains. He went on to say, "I want someone that has goals and all that."
If I happen to swing by Rio and match with Ryan Lochte on Tinder, you can bet I'm swiping right.
