How Much Do You Know About Your Vagina? (Quiz)
Vaginas are, like, REALLY confusing. There are a ton of ins and outs (pun very intended), and every woman's is different. What seems to love and nurture one vagina might not be the right fit (also very intended) for another.
However, there are a few biological variables that are the same across the board.
For example, one of the most important factors involved in your vaginal health is its natural pH balance. This refers to the acidity (ew factor, we know) inside of your vagina. If this is all out of whack, you may feel discomfort or show other symptoms of irritation.
Unfortunately for us women (as so much seems to be), there are tons of reasons your pH might fluctuate, making it tricky to keep your body in the comfort zone.
While it seems like we should know all of the answers and have loads of familiarity when it comes to our own bodies, it is very, very common for women of all ages to have more than a few misconceptions about female anatomy and sexual health. It's even MORE common for a bunch of crazy rumors and myths about those things to be circulating the internet.
Women of all ages to have more than a few misconceptions about female anatomy and sexual health.
For the longest time, I thought that when I had sex with a guy, his penis could potentially poke the back of my uterus, causing what I can only image would be excruciating pain and ruin my sex life forever.
Guess what guys? That is not a thing! (Right, guys... Guys?)
