Here's What These 6 Common Labels Given To Women Actually Mean
When they tell you you're "awesome," here's what they *really* mean.
If you ask most guys, they will say men see girls as two different types. It's pretty simple: There's the kind of girl he wants to date, and the kind of girl he will eventually want to marry. But let's be real here: There are many sub-categories within the dating world today under which a guy will classify a girl. Whether he sees her as girlfriend material or not, a girl will fall under one (or several) of them. But what does it mean when a guy says you’re “fun” or “sexy” but never calls you “beautiful”? How about when a guy says you’re “awesome” and “chill” but doesn’t want anything serious with you? Even more importantly, how does he describe you to his friends?
Here's what a guy means when he labels a girl the following things:
Sexy
This girl has the bod of a god, and she knows how to work it. She will be fun to hang out with, and the first person he thinks of for a late-night booty call. But sexy alone is not going to be wifey material in the long run.
Beautiful
This is the gal who has the ENTIRE package. She's a natural beauty, both inside and out. She has style, confidence and class all her own… and she's the one most guys want to marry someday. When she wakes up in the morning in his boxer shorts, oversized t-shirt and no make-up, and he says, “You look beautiful,” she is.
Fun
The fun girl is all about spontaneity, whipped cream, and skinny dipping. She has her eye on the prize. She knows what she wants, and is determined AF to get it. He can always count on her to bring something memorable to the table. Every relationship needs a bit of that to keep it fresh. Long-term though, it needs more substance.
Cute
She will most likely not be the one to make the first move. She also may not be outwardly spontaneous, like the fun chick in the bunch. But she's adorable and sweet in her own way. The cute girl is going to make him lunch, bake him brownies and be an awesome friend. She is laid back, but she may be seen as too much of a “friend” or “sister” at times. She may not be captivating enough to win his heart.
High-Maintenance
She can't make a last-minute or uncomplicated plan. She wears full-on makeup and jewelry to the beach, and wedges to a baseball game. She gets pissed off at just about everything he says and does, and she can't ever let things slide. She’s a lot of work, and she may not be worth the effort.
Just OK
There was absolutely no connection whatsoever. He probably won't even remember that he met her the next time they run into one another.
