The 2017 Tony Award nominations have been announced, people!! If you don't know what the Tonys are, I hate everything about you.

For those of you horrible people who don't know, the Tonys are the Oscars of Broadway. Winning a Tony Award is the highest honor a play, musical or actor can be awarded during its first year on Broadway.

God, that hurt to type. Everyone should just know this. If I have to pretend to give a shit about the Super Bowl, you have to pretend to know what the Tonys are!!!!

Anyway, the nominations were announced Tuesday morning at Lincoln Center in NYC. The event was hosted by Jane Krakowski ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," "30 Rock") and Christopher Jackson ("Bull").

You probably already know of Jane Krakowski from her TV shows, but she's a full-fledged Broadway queen who won a Tony in 2003 for her role in "Nine" and another nomination last year for her role in "She Loves Me."

Christopher Jackson is on "Bull" on CBS, but he's well-known for originating the roles of George Washington in "Hamilton" and Benny in "In The Heights." Playing George Washington earned him a Tony nomination last year.

They are truly majestic creatures who deserve all of your praise, SO GIVE IT. But back to the awards.

"Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812" leads with a total of 12 nominations, more than any other show.

The revival of "Hello, Dolly!" starring Queen Bette Midler is next with a total of 10 nominations, and fan favorite "Dear Evan Hansen," starring "Pitch Perfect" actor Ben Platt, received nine nominations.
