Congrats are in order for Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer. On Aug. 9, the Bachelor In Paradise alums announced their engagement on Instagram with a sweet post. “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, and I want ‘em all 🤍,” they wrote, alongside a carousel of photos from their big moment. Erb also reposted the IG on his Story, adding, “Forever has a nice ring to it.”

Per People, Erb popped the question on Aug. 8 at a beachfront property in La Jolla, San Diego. He told the outlet, “it was stunning and exactly what she was hoping for” despite the fact that it happened a month ahead of schedule (due to the couple moving back to Tulsa, Oklahoma earlier than planned). He added, “I called her parents a couple days before to fill them in on my plans... The proposal was perfect and everything I wanted to incorporate to make it special and ours.”

Apparently, fellow BIP alums Thomas Jacobs and Becca Kufrin helped the surprise proposal go off without a hitch. "Thomas helped me with the arrangements and get everything set up,” Erb explained. "[Abigail] thought I was playing pickleball with Thomas and was inviting her and Becca to join us for a sunset at his friends house. She had no clue the engagement was happening until we walked up the stairs to the rooftop and saw the roses and candles overlooking the ocean."

A little background on the lovebirds: They met on Season 7 of Bachelor In Paradise in 2021, but they didn’t have the smoothest ride on the show. Per People, they broke up on the season’s prom night, right after being nominated the couple “Most Likely To Live Happily Ever After.” At the time, Erb told Heringer, "Deep down, it's a struggle between me being like, I have these feelings for this girl and she's perfect in all these ways, but I don't know if she's perfect for me.” However, post-filming, the duo was able to reconnect. And by October 2021, they confirmed they were back together on Instagram.

Since then, the couple’s relationship has been going strong, and in July, Heringer announced she bought a home for the two of them in Tulsa (thus, the reason Erb proposed in August instead of September). One month later, and they’re officially engaged — an announcement that prompted plenty of congratulations from Bachelor franchise alums. Becca Kufrin, whose fiancé helped Erb plan the special day, commented on the post, “So unbelievably happy for you kiddos, love you so much ❤️.” Serena Pitt, who married Joe Amabile after appearing on BIP Season 7, wrote, “CONGRATULATIONS!!! Screaming crying throwing up! Love you both so so much ❤️❤️.”
