This Is Why Blake Lively Isn't Sorry About That 'Oakland Booty' Instagram

Remember THAT Blake Lively Instagram comment about having an "Oakland booty" that totally blew up in her (LA) face?

Turns out she's standing by every word.

The 28-year-old actress was promoting her new film, "The Shallows," on SiriusXM show "Sway In The Morning" when she defended her comments.

Blake said,

It's something I was proud of. I never meant to offend anyone. I was celebrating my body. It's nice to have a nice curve and not look like you're starving to death.

People got mega angry with the actress -- who is expecting her second child with Ryan Reynolds -- back in May after she posted a picture of herself on Instagram and wrote, "L.A. face with an Oakland booty."

The caption is a lyric from Sir Mix-a-Lot's famous 1992 hit, “Baby Got Back,” a song the rapper wrote specifically to celebrate black women's bodies.

The intro to the not-so-PC song starts with white girls making fun of black women's butts, and Oakland is shouted out for its prominent Black community.

So some people found the quote coming from Blake, a white actress from LA, to be in poor taste.
