BTS 2022 Grammys Performance Was Smooth Like "Butter"

The 2022 Grammys marked a big night for BTS. The septet was nominated for Best Duo/Group, and they gave an electrifying performance of their No. 1 single “Butter.” ARMY couldn’t help but swoon over the boyband, and here are the photos from the night to relive a legendary performance.

BTS performed at the Grammys virtually from Korea last year, making this year the group’s first in-person performance at the awards show. ARMY knew it was going to be special and wondered what surprises BTS had in store for them.

The performance opened with Jungkook flying in from the rafters, while his fellow BTS members were scattered throughout the audience.

Olivia Rodrigo (who had already performed earlier in the evening) got in on the action, sitting with V as his tablemate as part of the song’s opening moments.

But when the boys all hit the stage for “Butter,” it was so smooth.

From an all-black look to silky smooth silver jackets, BTS rocked both looks as hard as they dance.

The band then came down into the audience and performed right in front of people’s faces. The crowd loved BTS rocking the house.
