BTS wrapped their second batch of Permission to Dance On Stage concerts in Seoul on March 13. Those who didn’t score tickets were luckily able to watch the March 12 show virtually and didn’t miss out on the fun. See the best photos from BTS’ Seoul concerts here.

The Dates

BTS first held PTD concerts in Los Angeles in November and followed up with shows in Seoul on March 10, March 12, and March 13. According to Rolling Stone, these were BTS’ first performances in front of a live Korean audience since their 2019 Love Yourself tour.

The Venue

The three shows South Korean took place at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. Variety reports the venue had a capacity of 70,000 attendees with the septet limiting their concerts to 15,000 fans per night per local pandemic guidelines.

No Cheering Rule

Part of the restrictions, as BTS’ agency HYBE (formerly known as Big Hit Music) said in a statement and reported by Variety, included notice that “cheering loudly, yelling, chanting, and standing up” would not be allowed by fans at the venue.

A Fun Alternative

Instead of cheering, HYBE encouraged fans to clap, dance, and use light-up clappers in their seats.

The Setlist

According to setlist.fm, BTS performed both newer singles like “Butter” and “Dynamite” and older hits like “Fire” and “Dope.” While the setlist reportedly changed each night, setlist.fm says the group closed each show with their song, “Permission to Dance.”

A Spectacle

BTS’ PTD concerts in Seoul looked like a huge party for fans. There were a number of backup dancers to keep the crowd hyped, as well as fireworks and confetti to make the shows truly feel like a celebration of music.
