Calvin Harris' Sad New Song Might Really Be About Taylor Swift Cheating
THIS IS IT, GUYS: Calvin Harris has dropped his new song allegedly about Taylor Swift cheating on him.
We heard rumors about "Ole" featuring John Newman yesterday. Then we woke up this morning and BAM -- it's on Spotify.
But it's not as sassy and in-your-face as you'd imagine. Actually, quite the opposite. The tune is slow and a bit heartbreaking. It makes you want to cradle Calvin's sad head as he nestles into you for emotional support. Check out some of the lyrics.
It opens with this:
"Low-key, you won't tell none of your friends about me. You won't tell them I occupy your dreams and your thoughts. Look at what we have started."
And the chorus goes:
"Ole, you bring too much sunlight to my day, and only you can chase the pain away, you bring too much sunlight to my day, my day."
But note this juicy little bit:
"There's no telling how far you can go, you've hidden my name on your phone so you can call me to tell me you've been going through hell, left him alone and you booked in a hotel."
Wait. Calvin's making it sound like this Tom Hiddleston thing has been going on WAY longer than we originally thought. But that would explain why Taylor was pictured with the British actor literally days after breaking up with Calvin.
There's no music video yet. However, it's rumored to be a based on all those Snaps of Calvin living it up on a boat somewhere sunny.
So what do you guys think?
It's definitely not a club banger. I'm not even sure if it's a grower. DAMN IT, TAYLOR! You better not have ruined Calvin's music for all of us.
