Breakups are hard for a lot of obvious reasons. I'm not going to list all the ways they absolutely suck, but just know you're not alone in wishing for death via bee helmet (a la Nick Cage in that one movie) in lieu of ever having to deal with a breakup ever again.
One of the biggest ways breakups suck is you lose a sense of consistency. You lose that routine you're comfortable with, and it's a lot to overcome. Regular Sunday brunches, frequent boink seshes and having a guaranteed movie buddy go out the window the second you call it quits on your 'ship.
There are a ton of ways to ease that transition, though. Eating entire tubs of ice cream or going on a legit drinking binge are pretty good activities to undertake when trying to get over an ex. The best one, though?
