Adriana Lima Split With Her New England Patriots BF, So You Still Have A Shot

Adriana Lima is officially single once more. The supermodel has reportedly split up with Julian Edelman, the New England Patriots player she's been dating for nearly a year.

Apparently winning a Super Bowl doesn't guarantee that your love life is going to be OK.

A source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Lima and Edelman called it quits recently, probably about a month ago. The last time they were somewhat public about their relationship was when Lima cheered Edelman on at the Super Bowl on February 5.

It really hasn't been easy to follow Adriana Lima's relationship with Julian Edelman, since the two have preferred to keep their romance under wraps. They first started seeing each other last summer during a complicated time for Edelman.

Right around the time they began dating, one of Edelman's ex-girlfriends — a Swedish model named Ella Rose — filed paternity papers naming the Patriots star the father of the child she was pregnant with. Edelman and Rose remain on friendly terms, though they did not rekindle their romance, and Rose gave birth to their daughter, Lily, at the end of November.

It was also an interesting time for Lima, whose divorce from her husband of seven years, NBA star Marko Jaric, was just finalized a couple months earlier, although they'd separated back in 2014.

But don't worry about Adriana Lima after this breakup — she has a pretty impressive history of getting with some of the hottest celebrities around.

She was rumored to be dating Justin Bieber after her divorce, and before her marriage she was linked to Derek Jeter, Lenny Kravitz and the freaking prince of Liechtenstein! I mean, she is a supermodel, after all...

As for Julian Edelman, I'm sure he'll have no trouble getting his love life back on track — he did just win the Super Bowl!
