Anna Faris Opened Up About "Tricky Part" Of Marriage To Chris Pratt Weeks Before Split

It's a sad, sad day in Hollyweird. Chris Pratt and Anna Faris' marriage is coming to an end, and while fans want what is best for two of their favorite stars, we can't help but be oh-so-sad to see this particular relationship go. The duo has been together for a total of eight years and has one son together named Jack.

In a statement on Facebook, Chris Pratt penned, er – typed, the following message,

Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.

Elite Daily reached out to Chris Pratt and Anna Faris' teams for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.

Now, fans are backtracking and looking for signs of trouble in paradise. One such instance might be an interview Faris did with People, back in July. In it, Faris talked about some of the unexpected struggles and hurdles that come with being one of Hollywood's favorite power couples.

She said,

I don't think that's something, when you're an actor, that you're prepared for... ...There are two different roles that you play — the one on-camera and the one in public. That's the tricky part.

Still, Faris insisted that more than anything, she and Pratt are just like everybody else. She added, "Chris loves to work in the garage and I love to do laundry and watch reality television. Just normal people."

Sure, two normal people who also happen to be insanely talented, rich, hilarious, beautiful, and only our north star when it came to ideal relationships.

Still, this isn't about us. (I know, I know.) We wish both Anna and Chris support, love, and privacy during this certainly stressful time.
