Ben Higgins Says Realizing Lauren Was The One Was 'Low' Point Of His Year
Last week, "Bachelor" Ben Higgins called off his wedding to Lauren Bushnell in a traumatic and emotional episode of "Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?"
However, it appears the worst was yet to come.
Tuesday, on the latest episode of "Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?", Higgins and Bushnell played a game of "High and Low of the Year" during what started off as a romantic evening to celebrate their one-year anniversary.
Ben Higgins, after professing his undying love for Bushnell, dug himself another hole by saying the "low" point of his year was when he realized Lauren B was the one.
Um, what?
Higgins said,
My low would be knowing for certain we were right for each other, having the blissful idea of what life would be like... It's also been hard. I had this idea that life would just be easy-breezy, and it's not. I don't want you sad, I don't want you confused. I just want to see you rock this life.
Ben, bruh, what are ya doing to your girl???
Higgins' comments obviously brought Lauren to tears, again, and she said,
This year has been the best year of my life. I don't know what I would do without you. I can't live without you.
I know, this really doesn't look good. But hold the phone, because following his ridiculously odd and confusing comment, Ben Higgins turned the tables once again and addressed the fact he called off the wedding.
Higgins -- who apparently can't make up his mind to save his life -- said,
You're the love of my life — you always will be. I made a big mistake by pushing off the wedding. I don't want to lose this girl.
Son, what? I'm so confused, so I can only imagine how confused and conflicted Lauren Bushnell must be feeling.
I'm in a relationship, I understand the concept of being confused about how you're feeling. But filter yourself, my dude.
Also, anyone else feel like Ben Higgins really, really regrets not picking JoJo Fletcher?
Yeah, I said it.
