Beck Gives Amazing Response After Being Kanye'd At The Grammys

Beck won the Grammy for Album of the Year last night and almost got his triumphant moment ruined by Kanye West.

Kanye hopped on the stage in an attempt to protest Beck's victory. Kanye thought Beyoncé should have won the award.

However, Kanye stopped himself and didn't make as big of a scene as he could have, but he did go on to rip Beck and praise Beyoncé after the show.

While it would certainly be fair for Beck to be upset with Kanye, he didn't seem to be angry in the slightest.

Beck handled the whole situation with a level of class and decency Kanye is simply incapable of possessing.

Beck said,

I was just so excited he was coming up. He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody. How many great records has he put out in the last five years right?

When Beck was asked if he thought Bey should have beat him, he said,

Absolutely. I thought she was going to win. Come on, she's Beyoncé!

Beck even kept his cool when responding to Kanye's comments insinuating Beck wasn't a true artist. Beck said,

You can't please everybody, man. I still love him and think he's genius. I aspire to do what he does.

After reading these comments, I think it's pretty clear Kanye is the one who doesn't respect others' artistry.
