Bella Hadid Reveals What Single Life Is Like After Breakup From The Weeknd
Look, I'm not a Hadid sister.
I can't say for sure that they are actual, ethereal beings incapable of mere mortal emotions, but I can assume it's pretty freaking awesome to be one.
This makes it tricky when something like the big Bella/Weeknd breakup happened to predict how the majestic creature that is the younger, graceful sister Bella Hadid is going to handle it, especially when her ex jumped so quickly into a new relationship.
Her response? Nothing. She's doing just fine, thank you very much.
Just this past month, Bella's ex, The Weeknd (or Abel Tesfaye, IRL) stepped out onto the Met Gala red carpet with his new boo-thang, Selena Gomez, and the whole world was like, "What are you gonna do Bella?!" and Bella was all, "I don't know. Just keep being a super model and living my life, I guess."
Ugh. Makes sense.
In an interview with Grazia, Bella said,
It's like I'm finally getting to the point where I can just think about what I want to do and the places I want to go. I want to be as independent as possible and worry about myself rather than anyone else.
I mean, sounds pretty good to me.
Hadid fans, or "fandids" as I suddenly would love to call them, were initially worried as Selena is buddy-buddy with Bella's sister, Gigi.
Ah, what a tangled web young Hollywood starlets weave! Fortunately, so far, so good in Hollyweird-land.
Bella gave us our first glimpse into how she would be handling the split when her and The Weeknd first reunited after their split on the Victoria Secret Fashion show stage.
Fandids waited anxiously to see what their interaction would look like, and this is how it went down...
Boy, BYE.
Boy -- I said goodbye!
Ah, to be young, gorgeous and full of self confidence and worth.
You do you Bella. We'll be here, quietly refreshing our Instagram feeds. Not that we're obsessed with you or anything.
