Chrissy Teigen Says Kendall Jenner And Gigi Hadid Are Her Style Icons

Athleisure! Clean sneakers! Messy buns! Slouchy tees! Nipples!  Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have ushered in an era of cool-girl street style even fellow fashion professionals hope to emulate.

In PeopleStyle's “5 Questions” video series, Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen admitted her admiration for K and G's low-key looks.

She said,

Some people want to be extra body-con, sexy and sheer and some people just want — I personally want — to feel comfortable and cool… I want to be one of the cool girls, like the It Girls, like the Gigis and the Kendalls.

When it comes to her hair, Chrissy said she lives and dies by the top knot, especially on nights out with husband John Legend.

She explained,

I love a top knot, like honestly, like with like some like piece-y strands coming down the middle. I'm sure John is so bored with it. But it's like always my go-to 'cause it just makes me feel more put together. The top knot you get away with bad makeup, then you can be a little more natural.

Though the 30-year-old is laid back about her hairstyles, her hair hygiene is on a strict schedule.

She admitted,

I definitely must wash my hair every single day… that's mandatory. And I am a twice-a-day shaver. It's crazy. Like, I'm very neurotic about it. I don't know why… I'll do one shower and then I'll just sit on the edge of the bathtub and shave. Yeah, it's so sad.

Once her legs are smooth and her hair is clean, Chrissy skips the hassle of applying individual falsies among her eyelashes.

The cookbook author claimed,

I am very good at strip lashes but I have sobbed trying to put on individuals before... I just get so frustrated. You're like, 'Oh, I got it!' And then it just turns. You're like, 'Gahh! I have like ten more clusters to go!' What am I good at? I don't know. I feel like I just don't take the time to, I don't know. Like what am I good at? Nothing.
