Ed Sheeran Finally Drops New Album And Fans Are Already Calling It His Best Yet
If you're an Ed Sheeran fan, listen up! If you're not an Ed Sheeran fan... you should still listen up!
The romantic singer-songwriter has finally released his new album, Divide, and it's so good people aren't sure how to handle their excitement.
Ed graced us with the gift of his new music at the stroke of midnight, and fans immediately logged onto their fav streaming sites and starting listening to the tracks.
He teased a few of the songs before releasing the record, like "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill," which pumped up fans so much they could barely wait until the album was released in its entirety.
Now that it's here, PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIR SHIT.
Rightfully so, though! Apparently, fans have been waiting longer than expected for the album to drop, so the anticipation has become almost unbearable.
Ed talked to Billboard and said Divide was originally supposed to drop in November, but thanks to Donald Trump, that never happened.
He said,
The plan was to come in September and then the album was meant to come in November, but the week the album was coming out was the week the presidential elections - that was just a shit storm of media and I was like obviously if I come out with a record then no one's gonna care.
Good call, Ed. (We still would have cared, though.)
Obviously, Twitter cares more than ever about Ed's new album, and people are claiming it's his best one yet.
Since Divide dropped at midnight, fans are claiming Ed's new album "saved 2017."
In fact, they think it "saved the whole damn music industry."
They think it's "unbelievable."
Ron Weasley definitely isn't the only ginger magician.
It's just perfection.
OK, everybody, deep breath in... deep breath out.
Ed wouldn't want you passing out from excitement over his new music.
