You may remember Amandla Stenberg as the actress who played Rue in "The Hunger Games." Stenberg is now 16 years old and is speaking out about the improper appropriation of black culture.
In a recent YouTube video, Stenberg spoke about what essentially boils down to the theft of black culture in America by the privileged.
We've seen black culture, black music and black hairstyles reused and repackaged by white people without an appreciation for the struggle out of which these things were born.
