Katherine Langford Looks Absolutely Stunning At The 2017 Teen Choice Awards

Oh, boy. Sunday night was full of my favorite young celebrities who make me believe I still have a shot at my own Disney Channel original movie and I am loving it. Among the list of stars who graced the red carpet, Katherine Langford at The Teen Choice Awards is serious goals. The 13 Reasons Why star is rocking a shimmery, fringy, gold and blue thingy, and long flowing locks.

The actress came blasting into our hearts with her breakout role as Hannah Baker in the popular series, and has a serious mystery gaze that has me like, "How does she do that?" At the TCAs, she looks vibrant and young, showing us a big toothy grin that is unusual but oh-so-appreciated. Usually, she rocks a pout and serious attitude, and this flirty carefree vibe looks amazing on her.

Langford is not nominated for anything this time around, but not because of lack of talent. The performance she brought to Hannah is nothing short of a triumph, especially given the critical eye constantly surrounding the controversial show. Taking on topics like suicide, rape, and mental health, Langford joined executive producer Selena Gomez to deliver this polarizing series.

When asked about 13 Reasons Why's controversial content, Langford told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show,

Of course there's controversy, because I think things like these instigate discussion, which is the important part.

While we're used to seeing her in an intense role, tonight she looked like any other 21-year-old might while celebrating her successes and enjoying the party.

So far, she hasn't linked up with any of her 13 Reasons Why co-stars, but we suspect they are lurking (read: strutting) around the red carpet somewhere. Congratulations to Langford and the whole gang for such an epic series, and pour one out for us! (Ya know, if you're old enough.)
