'Emotional' Kim Kardashian Fears Her Robbery Flashbacks Will Upset North West
Kim Kardashian is grappling with the emotional aftermaths of her life-threatening robbery.
After being bound, gagged and robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning at her hotel in Paris, the 35-year-old reality star has understandably been laying low.
According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, Kim has been spending almost all her time away from the public eye with Kanye West and their kids.
A source close to Kim told ET she is struggling with traumatic flashbacks from the incident, but she's trying to keep it together for the sake of North and Saint West.
The source reportedly said,
She tries not to cry in front of North, but it's been tough. She still gets emotional thinking about the incident. I don't think the flashbacks will go away anytime soon though. It's going to take a while for those to stop, as with any traumatic experience like that.
On Thursday, Kim was spotted for the first time since the incident leaving her New York apartment with North in her arms and Kanye holding Saint close behind.
The source went on to say Kim can't stop imagining what would have happened to North and Saint had anything happened to her.
The quote from ET reads,
She is very upset and can't stop thinking about what could have happened. The scariest part for her throughout this experience is the fact that it could have been a lot worse, and she couldn't imagine what that would have been like for her children.
Unfortunately, officials have not had much luck pursuing the armed robbers who attacked Kim.
While French police did discover a mirror reflection on video that they initially thought might identify the attackers, TMZ reports the footage has amounted to nothing.
The footage captured on CCTV allegedly shows the robbers escaping the hotel by bicycle.
However, police were unable to identify the faces on the video.
It looks like this investigation has hit a road block.
