Liam Payne Is Already Making Dad Jokes In Funny Tweet About His Newborn Baby

Liam Payne is officially a father now — and not just because his girlfriend Cheryl Cole gave birth to their first son last week.

No, what makes the 23-year-old One Direction singer a bonafide, official father now is that five days after his son was born, Liam completed two very important Dad rites of passage.

One, he sent his first tweet about his kid. As anyone who follows parents on social media knows, there will be many, many more of those to come.

And two, he told his very first dad joke.

Liam achieved both of these paternal milestones on Tuesday in a single tweet about changing his newborn son's diapers.

Liam wrote in the tweet,

When the fourth nappy happens in 5 minutes.

(For those of you who are from the colonies like me, "nappy" is British speak for a baby diaper.)

Liam attached GIF of Ross Geller from "Friends" to the tweet, expressing how against that fourth nappy he was.

Awww! Liam is making memes about his kid and using GIFs from outdated (though still excellent) TV shows! How much more dad can you get than that?

Meanwhile, we still don't know if baby whats-his-face has a name or not yet. Liam shared a picture of his son when he announced the news of his birth on Saturday, but said he and Cheryl had not yet decided on a name.

Liam wrote in the post,

My close friends and family know there are very few times when I'm left speechless... wow! I'm incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it's a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far. I'm completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she's really made my dreams come true. We haven't named him yet but he's already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed. Happy Mother's Day everyone!

(I would just like to note that Liam is referring to the British Mother's Day, which was on March 26. So don't worry, you didn't forget to call your mom. The American Mother's Day isn't until May 14.)
