Lindsay Lohan Deleted All Her Instagram Pics And May Have Converted To Islam
If someone deletes all of their Instagram photos, then you know they are going through a major change in their life.
Most of the time, a deletion of an Instagram account could suggest a person is going through a messy divorce. Purging an ex from your social media is a rite of passage.
Or, maybe, they're entering a new career and are worried the HR office will wonder just how often they do keg stands.
In Lindsay Lohan's case, it suggests the actress has converted to Islam.
Her bio was also changed to "Alaikum salam," which is an Arabic greeting that means "peace be unto you." It is a standard hello to member of the Nation of Islam.
This is causing a lot of fans to draw the conclusion the 30-year-old has officially converted.
A number of people have welcomed Lohan to the religion and posted photos of Lohan carrying the central religious text of Islam, the Quran, which were taken in 2015.

On a Turkish talk show "Haber Turk," she said the book was a gift from friends.
She said,
My very close friends, who have been there for me a lot, in London are Saudi and they gave me the Quran and I brought it to New York because I was learning. It opened doors for me to experience spiritually, to find another true meaning. This is who I am.
Of course, openness to the Islamic faith drew a lot of criticism from people who misunderstand the religion. Some bigots may not be able to fully enjoy "Herbie: Fully Loaded" due to this news.
Lohan said she felt unsafe in America and was happy to return to London.
They crucified me for it in America. They made me seem like Satan. I was a bad person for holding that Quran.
The "Mean Girls" star spent time in the Middle East recently, which included celebrating the New Year in Dubai. She also spent time with child refugees who fled Syria in Turkey in October.
In 2014, after her sixth stint in rehab, Lohan appeared in an interview with Oprah Winfrey and spoke of religion, calling herself a "very spiritual person."
She said,
I'm a very spiritual person and I've become more spiritual as time has gone on. I'm really in touch, whether it's prayer or meditation... there are so many powers greater than me in the world. I've been blessed and lucky enough to have been given a gift to share with other people.
