With the series finale of Pretty Little Liars and a lot of new projects in the mix, Lucy Hale has a lot on her plate. As if her career wasn't keeping her busy enough, now the starlet is stirring up romance rumors with her ex-boyfriend, Anthony Kalabretta.

On July 17, Hale posted this photo of her and Kalabretta with the caption "Helicopter, Volcano, Desire to find the nearest poké bowl" with black check marks indicating they completed all those activities. The photo is... puzzling.

According to Daily Mail, Hale and Kalabretta called it quits in May after almost two years together. The breakup seemed like a chilly one, too. The pair unfollowed each other on social media, and even deleted a number of photos they had together. SMH, petty.

Obviously, this photo doesn't confirm anything. Hale and Kalabretta could just be friends. Either way, Twitter has questions.

People have their reasoning to be protective.

Savage.

Some people were extremely supportive.

It has not been confirmed that these two are back together, but some people can dream.

Also, it should be noted that Hale disabled the comments on her Instagram page. She probably didn't feel like dealing with it (I know I wouldn't).

Without giving a specific reason for the split, a source told ET Online,

She became a homebody when they were dating. They stayed in a lot. She really loved him.

Hale and Kalabretta were first seen together at a Dodgers game on June 18, 2015. According to a source from Us Weekly, the two "met through mutual friends and bonded over a lot of things — just having fun and their shared love of music."

Kalabretta is a talented musician who hails from Toronto, Canada. He does a lot of remixes and upbeat jams. Hale reportedly "has a thing for musicians." Who could blame her?

Whether she has a man or not, Hale has some serious irons in the fire. In December, Hale told Entertainment Tonight that 2017 would be her "best year yet." She said,

I want to try to do stuff that scares me a little bit and my whole thing is just always keeping an open mind because some of my best experiences come from jumping into something I never thought I would enjoy.

Hale is definitely trying out new things. Her pilot for Life Sentence was officially picked up by The CW. The dramedy follows a woman who was diagnosed with cancer and was living life to the absolute fullest, only to find out she has been cured.

Whether her future holds career goals or a reignited romance (or both) —  I can't wait to see what else comes from Lucy Hale this year.
